All by myself
I put my heart
Upon a shelf
Even with the beauty seek
My soul is lonely, purely meek
If the world could understand
That my heart is surely grand
I could share a drink or two
Sit down with me
Won’t you do?
Bring a smile upon my lips
Waiter! Garçon! Leave a tip…
I can talk, or I can cry
Kind souls have no alibi
Lonely is a single word
Free my tears
Soar like a bird
What is happy
I don’t know
Just a smile
Will let it show
Wonder ever
What will be
Lonely Lonely
That is me
